The series Sibiricae is comprised of two classes of iris, Sibirica and Chrysographes.

The class Sibirica is made up of 3 species, I. sibirica, I. sanguinea. and I. typhifolia. These 3 species are native to eastern Europe through Northern Asia.
The class Chrysographes is made up of 8 or more species, all native to the Himilayan mountains of China. Noteable amoung these are I. delavayi, I. forrestii, and I. chrysographes.
We seperate the hybrids by using more common names, Sibeian Iris (Sibirica) and Sino-Siberian Iris (Chrysogrphes).

Please note that the two classes, Sibirica and Chrysographes, have very different cultural needs. Take a look at our growing instructions on the Iris 101 page to ensure these are a good fit for your garden.
