Iris californicae is a series of iris endemic to the west coast of the United States, and consists of 12 species. Most of these species tend to prefer open meadows or woodland edges. They do not like to have their roots disturbed. We will ship these potted to give you the best chance for success. When planting, try to disturb the roots as little as possible. All Pacific Coast Natives and hybrids require well drained soil. They will not tolerate stannding water.
